Desire Session: A Meeting with the Soul

What do you desire?

Go ahead. Take the time to listen.

Can you hear the whispers of your soul? Do you feel your desires buzzing in your blood?

Or do you feel like you are met with a deafening silence in a dark room, unsure of your own longings…

The desires that tiptoe to you right now may not be the ones that you tell others…

…or they may be the very ones you have told others for years but haven’t seen manifest in reality…

How do you feel about your desires?

Giddy with joy? At peace? Fierce?

Or do you feel that your desires are selfish, grandiose, or naïve?

Listen.

Listen deeply. Listen attentively. Listen with rapture.

Our desires show themselves to us—in small, quiet ways. Sometimes wholly, they come to us—in prophetic dreams, or during waking hours. Other times they come hurling toward us during moments of chaos and crisis.

Our desires can be simple—like wanting green glass bangles tinkling like laughter on our arms, or wishing to gallop on a horse across an open field or desiring to walk beneath the sky in midnight.

Our desires can be as grand as wanting to trek through the globe, or longing to caress the bottom of our unborn child’s feet, or yearning to whirl like a dervish to feel one with the Divine.

Those are MY desires. What are YOURS?

Small or large, it does not matter. The fact remains the same.

Desires open the portal through which we expand ourselves and birth new versions of who we are. When we lean into our desires, we answer our soul’s call to unfold our personal myth in this existence. When we do that, we dance with the whole of the Universe and in turn help the Universe to expand itself.

So, tell me, what are your desires? How would your personal myth unfold if you lived your life from the dead center of your desires?

In “Desire Session: A Meeting with the Soul,” participants will:

  • Learn different ways to access their deepest desires

  • Create a desire board

  • Understand what is holding them back from entering into a beautiful relationship with their desires

  • Practice ways to deal with emotions that arise when they say “yes!” to living a soulful life.

  • Stage a Dream Burial ceremony

What to bring: Writing Tools. Openness. Curiosity. Desires. Your whole self.
